Show Cannonville Bettv Henderson 47 -$ Sherman Davis passed away early last week after an extended illness. Here to be with their mother and for funeral services were Mr. and Mrs. LaMond Davis, Cedar City; Mr. and Mrs. Sherrlll Davis, Klamath Falls, Oregon; Mr. and Mrs. Larry Davis, Las Vegas; Mr. and Mrs. (Mary) Reed Lefevre, Tropic; Mr. and Mrs. Cal (Carol) Burroughs, Kanab; Mr. and Mrs. Dennis (Sharron) Jenson, Springville; Mr. and Mrs. Les (Shirley) Barker, Henrleville.. Other relatives from out of town were Ethel Johnston, Salt Lake City; Maggie Baldwin and Maude Wheatley, Ogden; Mr. and Mrs. John Davis, Dell Davis, Reno; Mr. and Mrs. Al Smith, Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Glen Campbell, Murray; Michael Davies, Aurora; Ron Twitchdl, Salt Lake City; Elva Shepard, Springville and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ewer, Brigham City. Ethel Clark has been on the sick list but she is feeling better and has had her son Kenneth here to visit her and Wllford. Mr. and Mrs. Preal Baldwin, Ogden brought Myrtle and Angus home from Ogden. A few days later it was necessary to put Myrtle in the hospital in Panguitch. Angus returned to Ogden with Preal and Rita. Mandy Fletcher has been in the Panguitch Hospital for several days. Howard Elmer, Cedar City; Mr. and Mrs. Garth Elmer, Junction were at Ira and Julia Elmers this week. Irving and Daisy Johnson are in Salt Lake City where Irving is to have surgery on one of his eyes. The descendants of Parley and E valine Elmer Henderson gathered at Kodachrome Basin for their annual family reunion. From out of town were LaRae Dries el and son, Roger, Tammy Dutton of Jerome, Ida.; Theodora and Tony Tremonte and family, Lay ton; Kent Henderson, Murray; Mr. and Mrs. John B. Davis, Kanab; Mr. and Mrs. Don Allen, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Dutton, Fredonia. Home folk attending were Beatrice and Kendall Dutton, Wilms Dutton and children, Lorraine Dutton and children, Melvin, Elmer and Betty Henderson, Aunt Alice Dunham, Uncle Ira and Aunt Julia Elmer. , Nick Reynolds and Jewell Pitts of Monroe were married In the Mantl LDS Temple on Thursday August 26. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Pitts, Monroe; Bea Reynolds, Barbara and Wayne Reynolds, Henrleville accompanied the couple to the temple. An open house was held In the ward cultural hall on Saturday evening. Karen Slvlls and children, Kanab; Mr. and Mrs. Jody Heaton and children, Mr. and Mrs. Jon Heaton, Sprlngdale, Sandl and Jeff Rucker, Cedar City were here for the occasion as well as the family members here for the Henderson reunion. Mae Twltchell and Mary Kazan, Escalante went to the horse races being held in Ely, Nev. Home for the weekend at Joe and Rae Hughes were Maxine and Daphne Henderson, Panguitch; Charlotte and John Mathews and sons, Page. Karmen and Brad Smith and baby are at Laurie Holleys this weekend. Martin Stock, Gunnison brought Kristy over to meet her mother for the return trip home to Fredonia. Marty visited Us parents, Bert and Arma Stock while he was here. David Mathews, son of Don and Louise Mangum has received a call to serve a mission in Guatemala. Ned Henderson and family, Ordervllle, Dee Henderson, North Ridge, Calif, have been here for a visit and to extend birthday greetings to their mother. Fern Henderson. |
