Show PUBLIC NOTICE Be it known that Garkane Power Association, Inc. (hereafter called Garkane) has a Hydro Electric Project, which is located North of the Town of Boulder, Utah. Said project Is licensed and regulated by the Federal Power Commission of the United SUtes of America (hereafter called the Commission) Project No. 2219-UUh. Garkane is required by the Commission to inform the Public of the availability of project lands and waters for recreational purposes. Garkane's Hydro Plant is located approximately six miles North of the Town of Boulder, Utah. There is a regulating pond at the plant, which is open to the public for fishing. However, the pond is not large enough to permit boating or other water sports. Garkane has a small reservoir on the East Fork of Boulder Creek, which is located approximately 3'i miles North of the Hydro Plant. This reservoir is also open to fishing, but closed to boating or other water sports, because of it's small size. Garkane has a diversion point on the West Fork of Boulder Creek, which is located approximately 3 miles West of the East Fork Reservoir. The creek above the diversion point is on Forest Service property, which is open to the public for fishing. The afore mentioned facilities are open to all members of the public without regard to color, religious creed, or national origin.
