Show Bicentennial Funds Given Panguitch City Bicentennial committee members from Panguitch, Mrs. Mary Henrie, and Mrs. Hilda Gardner, received a check for $2,550 from John W. Warner, a national administrator of the American Revolution Bicentennial Administration, during a joint session of the Utah State Legislature Friday. This money was presented to help toward the completion of the city park. The park will have covered picnic areas, will be landscaped, two tennis courts and seven individual charcoal burners. The creek bed that runs through the park will also be beautified. The project is scheduled for completion in two years. |
