The Gall Miles family of Midvale, spent the weekend at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Adair. Mr. and Mrs. Phil Leavitt, Las Vegas, were weekend visitors at the Laurence Adair home. Pattl Munson was released as a Primary teacher and Garna Kay Duel was sustained in her place. Pete Alfa no made a trip to California this week, he was accompanied by Jim Thomas. Vce Pollock visited with his parents, the Adrian Pollocks during the week. The Grant LcFevre family from Salt Lake City also visited them Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Max Stewart and family were in Tropic over the weekend. Wesley Clarke and fiance' Jeri Tucker, spent the weekend at the Lester Clarke home. Wendy Niemann, Mary Etta Chynoweth, Viola Marshall and Virgil Pollock have been in the hospital this week. Virgil Is still in the Veterans Hospital in Salt Lake City. Lcda Jolley and daughter attended an LDS temple session in Provo Saturday. The. Blackwell family of Independence, Mo., were in Tropic Saturday for the wedding' reception of their daughter, and Vance Shakespear. Brent Winters and wife, spent the weekend at the homes of their sisters, Leona, June and Marian. Lucille Snow and family, Provo, and LeRoy Marshall, Kanab, visited their mother, Viola Marshall on her birthday. Verdalla Nielsen enjoyed a visit from her sister, Ellen this past week. Malen Mecham went to Oak City to bring his wife home. The Alton Shakespears enjoyed a visit from their daughter Colleen and family over the weekend. George Jolley attended a principals conference In Las Vegas the forepart of the week. Monty Morten sen was In Las Vegas getting immunization shots. She and her children will Join her husband in Saudi Arabia In the near future. Lyle J. and John L. LeFevre, Esther Shakespear, Susan Lynch were all home for the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Val Shakespear spent the holiday with the Vernal Shakespears. Mr. and Mrs. Roland Miles of Cedar City, were also weekend visitors at the Shakespears. Mr. and Mrs. Quinn Willis of Ogden, spent the holiday with the Roy Willis family in Bryce Canyon. Fae Ott has her son, Marty home visiting with her. Marlin Francisco was or dained a Deacon Sunday. The ward membership for Marvin Shakespear has been received. Nell Wilson has been released as ward librarian and George Wilson as library audio-visual assistant. Leona Stewart is the new ward librarian and June Shakespear as the Sunday School librarian. |
