Show ' ' TUT Panguitch Patter Jerrle Fackrell- 676-2706 Steve McAllister, grandson of Grace McAllister and Nettie Dowdell, has qualified on the basis of grades and teacher recommendation to become a member of the Eldorado High School Chapter of the National Junior Honor Society. Steve lives in Albuquerque, N. M. Mrs. Grace McAllister went to Mesa, Ariz., with Karl and family and toured the Mormon Temple during the open house. Mrs. Nettie Dowdell has been quite ill and is staying with her daughters, Mr. and Mn. V eater Goff, Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Tebbs and Dr. and Mrs. Bruce Skaggs, Las Vegas and Henderson, Nev. Mr. and Mrs. Tony Vanllemert, Glendale, Calif., have made several trips there to see her. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Gelleri spent a week visiting and touring the Panguitch area with the William Walch family. The Jim Excells spent the weekend in their family home. Those visiting the Excells were Barbara and Don Marshall and family, Sandy; Max and Glenda Excell and family, Cirdeville; Evan and Nicld Excell and family, Price; and Sue and Bruce Douglas and family, Blanding. Members of the north ward choir met at the church Wednesday evening with the north ward bishopric for the purpose of setting apart James Excell, president; Barbara Heaton, conductor; Thora Proctor, secretary; and Irene McEwen, organist. The members and their partners enjoyed the program arranged by Ilulon Berrett and light refreshments were served. The choir has increased in membership. The invitation still stands for anyone who would enjoy being a member of this group to notify James Excell or a member of the bishopric. Mrs. J.L. Crawford of Zion National Park, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Orton and Mr. and Mrs. Clem McEwen, Jr., Salt Lake City; Mrs. Melanie M. Olsen, St. George; Dr. and Mrs. Fenn E. Nelson and Mr. and Mrs. Gean Gerstner, Fullerton, Calif.; came to attend the funeral of their uncle, Melt Hatch. Miss Janell Miller, St. George, was at the home of the Reid Miller family for the weekend. She came to attend the prom. Cecile and Frank Orton also came to attend the prom. A retraction is in order for Thora and George Proctor. Last week they made a trip to Delta to her Aunt Adaline Jefferys funeral. While there, they visited many friends and relatives. Panguitch South Ward program was presented by the Primary children. Primary The protestant Church services will be held Sunday, April 20 at 4 p.m. at the Jack Voris' residence. Anyone interested is encouraged to attend. Jack and Nina and son, John Voris spent a week in Casper, Wyo., with Mr. and Mrs. John Voris. Mr. Harry Judd celebrated his 86th birthday Tuesday April 16. |
