Parents brought birth certificates, immunization records and excited kids to the school. Anyone that was unaware of the registration, even if they do not have the birth certificate or immunization record, is encouraged to come in and begin the process as soon as possible. East Meadows would like to welcome their littlest learners. Pictured above is Ashlee Ross registering her daughter Emma for kindergarten next year. SERVICE: The MMHS PTSA Service Club has been doing a service project once a month for the entire school year. This month they wanted to help a local Elementary School. They were able to go to East Meadows and help the second graders with their reading and math centers. The Service Club members loved helping the kids with one-on-one reading, leading group reading and math tutoring. The second graders thought it was cool to have high school students there to help them. When it was time for recess the Service Club members went out to recess with their new second grade friends and played tag, 4 square and jump rope. The East Meadows students asked the MMHS students to come back for the next recess, too. It was a wonderful experience for everyone involved!
