Later that night, we sang carols as we prepared for Santa's arrival. Everything was so dark, could Santa have been and gone that quickly. I looked at my clock on the dresser; it was 4:30. What? Somehow I couldn't see how leaving my old friends, my old room, and even a few of my cherished toys could be that wonderful. Suddenly, the blur stopped, and I knew we had arrived at our destination. I looked out at my new neighborhood through a great wall of tears, which I was determined not to let go. What I saw was just a little white house, not much to it. It wasn't very big, but it would have to do. Without any further hesitation, I climbed over my sister in an attempt to get out of the car. Once outside, I looked around in astonishment The air was not hardly visible... another thing I would have to adapt to! I couldn't believe it; furthermore, I couldn't hardly smell it!
