Show 8B The Summit County Bee Friday, December 15, 1989 -- Memories of Christmas by Wanye Marsha and Fox Christmas is the excitement in their children during the holiday season. Marsha remembers some special things about past Christmases. She got her first camera from Santa. When she opened the camera case on Christmas morning there was no camera inside. (It was supposed to be a black and white Polaroid.) Her dad felt terrible so that very morning he took her shopping to buy a camera to go in the case. Her dad is the greatest dad. One Christmas Eve Marsha and her sister told each other what they were getting. Then when they unwrapped their gifts on Christmas morning they had to pretend to be ''MLloUy'Simes Celebrate with us the joy of giving and the warmth of sharing. surprised. On another Christmas she remembers staying at her grandparents and coming up their basement stairs on Christmas Eve in the dark and feeling the gifts that Santa had brought to guess what was inside. Marsha sented to share some of her Christ- - is married to Wayne Fox and they have a very successful photography business. The Fox family consisted of three children also. Alisha, Derek, and Brenna. Marsha grew up as a child in Colorado. It was a tradition in her family to spend Christmas in Utah with her relatives in Salt I ake and Spanish Fork. Before the drive to Utah they would pack all of their Christmas gifts in a wood crate and have it shipped to Utah so everything would be there when they arrived. As a young adult Marsha remembers Christmas at B.Y.U. One year one of her roommates made stick horses to give as her gift to her roommates. They all galloped around on a stick horse wishing everyone Merry Christmas in their pajamas. The Fox family usually spends Christmas day in Henefer and then they take a vacation to Colorado or California. For a family tradition the Fox family usually buys a new tree ornament for each member of the family every year. While they put up their family room Christmas tree they enjoy the memories ornaments from past years bring back. The family also likes to look through their yearly picture Christmas cards that they mail out every year.
