Show 12B The Summit County Bee -- Friday, December 15, 1989 The Christmas I Remember Best :o Happy Holidays by. Amber Waite When my family moved to Oakley in March, 1984, we were going through some pretty hard times. As Christmas season finally came, all of my brothers and sisters were very excited. We went to bed that Christmas Eve, having no idea that when we awoke the next morning, the living room would be filled with gifts. Some of the packages were from our relatives, but the majority of them were only labeled with just our names on them, so we never knew who they came from. There were also huge Christmas stockings for each of us children with gifts in them, too. Many people from all over the Valley sent cakes, cookies, candy and fruit, along with a complete Christmas dinner for our family to enjoy over the Christmas holiday.
