What is a human beings second most important emotional bond? Its the grandparent-grandchil- d second in emotional relationship importance to the bond between parents and children, reports a specialist in grandparent-grandchil- d relations. Even beyond biological bonds, Dr. Arthur Kornhaber, a New York child psychiatrist, told the American Council of Life Insurance, all elders need a child to be crazy about them and vice versa. Dr. Kornhaber, who is director of the Foundation for Grandparenting,; Mount Kisco, N. Y., says the research shows a good relationship pays off handsomely for the children. According to Dr. Kornnaber, grandparents offer these children an emotional sanctuary from the everyday world in an atmosphere of acceptance for just being alive. Thus, these youngsters feel deeply connected to their families and live in a loving and emotionally secure world. UTAH POWER 3- - m 3 i.
