He replaces Gerry Gimelstob, who left to accept a similar position at the University of Indiana under Bobby Knight. Tripucka will assist Coach Pimm with the Ute varsity and is in charge of recruiting in Utah and the Mid-Weand East. The Tripucka graduated from Lafayette in 1972 with a bachelor's degree in English. During his college hoop career, he averaged 26 points for his three years of varsity action. all-tim- e st Jim Marsh, former Southern California basketball star, begins his fifth year as an assistant to Pimm.
