The purpose of the public hearing is to discuss and receive comment on amendments and revisions to the Trails Master Plan for Summit County. Detailed requirements and scope of work books can be picked up between 8:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at: Parks Summit County Service Area No. 3 Snow Season Parking Ordinance The Board of Trustees of Summit County Service Area No. 3, a body corporate and politic of the State of Utah, existing under and by virtue of the provisions of Title 17A, Chapter 2, Utah Code Annotated (as amended, 1990), hereby ordains as follows: 1. The Board of Trustees finds it necessary and proper to the health, welfare ana safety of the homeowners and lot owners within the Service Area, to adopt an Ordinance limiting and regulating parking during the winter snow season. 2. During the winder snow season, which is hereby defined as October 15th through May 1st, no person, firm or entity shall park or cause to be parked a motor vehicle on any roadway or thoroughfare within the boundaries of the Service Area, except in designated parking areas, or where emergency conditions dictate. 3. When emergency conditions dictate the abandonment or parking of a vehicle on a designated roadway within the Service ARea, the person, firm or entity responsible for said vehicle shall take all steps necessary to remove the vehicle from the roadway as quickly as possible. Under no circumstances shall a , vehicle abandoned for emergency .'; purposes remain on the roadway more than forty-eight (48) hours. If a vehicle is on the roadway more than forty-eight (48) hours, the person, firm or entity responsible for the vehicle shall be deemed to have given its consent to the Board of Trustees of Summit County Service Area No. 3 to remove said vehicle, and to recover all costs of the removal of said vehicle from the roadway. 4. This Ordinance shall be in effect upon the date signed by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Summit County Service Area No. 3. Dated this 5th day of; September, 1991.
