Ranson attains Eagle rank V. r Christopher G. Ranson was presented the Eagle Scout Award during a Court of Honor held at the Bountiful Heights Ward Jan. 14. For his Eagle service project, Chris planned and organized a food drive for the Crossroads Urban Center. He supervised 13 scouts in the project, which provided a substantial amount of food to help needy families. Chris has served in several scout leadership positions, including senior patrol leader. He completed silver moccasin junior leadership training and the Order of the Arrow Ordeal In working towards his Eagle, Chris has earned 27 merit badges. As a varsity scout he participated par-ticipated in a Cavalcade at Philmont Scout Ranch, N.M. He also enjoyed a varsity high adventure where he climbed to the top of the middle Teton in Wyoming. Chris is presently a sophomore at Bountiful High SchooL He has been an honor student throughout junior high school and is currently on the Bountiful High School honor roll Chris plays the saxophone and CHRISTOPHER G. RANSON piano, enjoys reading, skiing and golf. He participated on the Bountiful Boun-tiful High School cross county team. Chris has enjoyed his years in the scouting program, and he appreciates appreci-ates all the help he has received from his scouting leaders.
