Show Golden Years Center plans monthly Wendover trip The AARP monthly meeting will be held Monday, Jan. 22 at the center beginning at 1 p.m. The sub-' ject will be on "Taking Care of Your Health." Ed Earl and his band will play for dancing Thursday, Jan. 25. Every one misses John Stahle and his drums. You can listen to the music The Golden Years Center's monthly trip to Wendover will be Monday, Jan. 29. The cost will be $11 with $10 in cash and $5 food ticket which participants will receive upon arrival at the Nevada Crossing. The buses will leave the center at 9 a.m. and return to Bountiful Boun-tiful around 7 p.m. Call 295-3479 to make reservations. even if listeners don't want to dance. This is a great little band. The following will be our lunch menu for the week of Monday, Jan. 22, through Friday, Jaa 26: Monday, Jan. 22, baked ham slice, baked potato, harvard beets, tossed salad, cinnamon applesauce, combread muffin and milk. Tuesday, Jan. 23, vegetable meatloaf, brown gravy, whipped potatoes, mixed vegetables, peachcream cheese, peanut butter brownies, dinner roll and milk. Wednesday, Jan. 24, seafood cheddar pie, cheese sauce, sweet potatoes, buttered peas, harlequin salad, chilled pineapple. wholewheat roll and milk. Thursday, Jan. 25, cook's choice, pars lied butter noodles, stewed celery, marinated bean salad, apple pie, dinner roll and milk. Friday, Jan. 26, chicken cac-ciatore, cac-ciatore, hash browns, buttered spinachlemon wedge, tossed salad, dressing, orange wedges, blueberry coffee cake and milk. Reservations must be made the day before for lunch. While at the center for lunch, remember to check out the various classes available. The yearly membership is now due. By paying the fee, members are placed on a mailing list to receive advance information on conventions, conferences, etc. |
