PERC offers LD classes Preregistration is required and can be accomplished by visiting the Parent Education Resource Center at 100 S. 200 E., Farmington or by calling 451-5071. Often parents are concerned because their children do not seem to be able to cope at school Learning Learn-ing disabilities are a major source of school dysfunction and may be hard for many parents to understand and know how to handle. The Parent Education Resource Center is sponsoring the class ''Understanding Learning Disabilities." Jim Burt from the Institute In-stitute for Behavioral Medicine at McKay Dee Hospital will explain learning disabilities and how they can be diagnosed. The class will also cover education edu-cation and school services for children with learning disabilities. The class will be held Jan. 31 at 7 p.m. It will be held at the Monte Vista Center, 100 E. 200 S., Farmington. Farm-ington. The cost is $3 per person or couple.
