S Sk HwwHHwtj By CHERIE HUBER FARMINGTON-Bowman's Food Town had a lot of happy winners in the coloring contest the store ran in conjunction with Farm-ington Farm-ington Country Holiday. This year's version of Farmington Country Coun-try Holiday drew people from many parts of Davis County. Bowman's Food Town offered specials and several contests for silver half dollars and other prizes to add to the festivities. The coloring contest was very popular. The store received over 300 entries from children in the Farmington area. The children colored a country picture furnished by Bowman's. The difficult part was deciding on just two winners in each age group. All of the pictures were well done and many were exceptional. After the winning pictures were , chosen, parents were asked to bring their children in for a prize drawing. As the child's name was drawn, he was allowed to pick the prize he wanted from a tableful of gifts. Nintendo games, a raft, silver half dollars and other fun prizes? were awarded.
