Show Golden Years Center to hold annual Bazaar On Saturday, Nov. 4, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. the Golden Years Centexwill hold its yearly bazaar. Do youYvChristmas shopping early. There wflk be bargains galore. Check wkhjhe center if you desire to rent spjirce For the sale of your homemade'items. r Ed Earl's band will entertain us for dancing on Oct. 26. Sign up for the lunch the previous day and enjoy en-joy the dancing and the music. There will be a Halloween party on Oct. 31. Prizes will be given for the best costumes. It will be held during the lunch hour. The AARP held its monthly meeting on Oct. 16. Howard Str- ingham led the discussion on "caregivers." 'The next meeting will be held on Nov. 20, starting at 1 p.m. This is a change in beginning time due to lunch being served at the center at noon. Everyone is invited in-vited to the AARP meetings. Come visit the center and check the bulletin board for the schedule of future activities. Many interesting inter-esting classes and lectures are being planned. The University of Utah has scheduled interesting lectures to be .' held at the Center. Reservations are needed. Call 295-3479 for the class on astronomy to be held Oct. 30. |
