Show How to write a novel class is being offered Tips for successful novel writing and for interviewing will be offered in two sessions of the 1989 Writers' Workshop, Saturday, Oct. 28, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Centerville City " Hall. Anyone interested in writing as a career is invited to the workshop which is sponsored by the Bountiful and Kay's Creek Chapters of the League of Utah Writers. Presidents are: George Cavanaugh, Bountiful; and Carolyn Rich, Kay's Creek which includes Kaysville, Layton, Fruit Heights. There is no charge for attendance. Gordon Allred, prize-winning novelist and a professor at Wehlr State College, will discuss successful suc-cessful novel writing. His works include in-clude "Shannon," M VHilngry Journey," MStarfire','raha " My Home Runneth Over." r Lisa Johnson, an editor with : "The New Era," will draw on 10 ) years of journalism experience for '! her discussion of interviewing.
