MSMMtttls9tM - , , fcKi aBoBmii AMnuMw ' i te9l!toiSM ' ssw y The city of Centerville will again be sponsoring their "All you can eat" chuckwagon breakfast to be served from 6 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on the Fourth of July. ... , Beginning the day's activities at Centerville's Fourth of July celebration celebra-tion will be an "all you can eat" chuckwagon breakfast from , 6-10:30 a.m. at the Main Street . Smith Park. : ; r-r. v You will be able to devour all the ham, hash browns and pancakes your tummy can hold and all for a v nominal charge of $2.75 for adults, , : $2 for children 12 and under or $12 ; for a family (over eight members in a family $1 additional per person). , This breakfast is being provided by the Centerville Young Adult Ward as a fund raiser for them. Chairpersons Chairper-sons are Dave Hancey and LaNae Gertsch. Where else, but Centerville, can you eat breakfast and watch the grand parade at 1 the" same time , because if you are lucky enough to get the right seat, you will be able to enjoy the parade as it commences at t 9 a.m. and travels along Main Street ; directly in front of the park. From there you can continue on to the park and take part in the car-, car-, nival activities from 10 a.m. to 4 ; p.m. with food, games, races, booths, prizes and T-shirts for one ' and all If that tires you out, just walk, over to the outdoor stage and grab a seat and relax and enjoy the continuous entertainment which will go on until after the sun goes down. FREEDOM RUN The annual Freedom Fun will again be part of the 4th of July celebration. The adult 5K race will begin at 7 a.m. from the Centerville City Shops and the Youth Race will begin at 7:45 a.m. from the city shops also. Pre-registration for the races is at the Centerville City offices and you will be given forms at this time with full instructions and costs for the youth race. Cost for adults is $4 or $8 with a t-shirt (pre-registered). Day of race registration will be at 6 a.m. and cost at that time is $10. Prizes and awards will be given out at the city shops following completion of the Freedom Run. For further information contact Dale Anderson at 292-2100. SWANEE SINGERS Utahfs famed and renowned Swanee Singers will be the highlight of the day's celebration. This widely celebrated male chorus, under the direction of Dr. Jay J. Campbell, will be performing a concert at 1:30 p.m. on the outdoor stage at the east end of Smith Main Street Park. Centerville is fortunate to be able to book them for the celebration as they are in demand constantly performing per-forming concerts throughout the Northwest, California, Hawaii and Canada. The Swahee Singers have recently returned from a cruise and performances in the Caribbean. EXHIBITS A number of special exhibits will be on display as part of the celebration. celebra-tion. Special exhibits of many interesting inter-esting items will be held at the Centerville Elementary School which is at the east end of the Smith Main Street Park where all the other day's activities will be taking place. The exhibits will be on display in the air-conditioned courtyard court-yard of the school beginning at 10 a.m. until 4 jmh. Items will include art for all ages, handicrafts, ceramics, antiques, dolls old and new, quilts, afghans, photography, videos of Centerville pioneers, sculpture and a new item this year, a very fine display of taxidermy tax-idermy birds and animals.
