Show Special education grants okayed " FARMINGTON - ; Tuesday : evening the Davis County Board of Education agreed to administer two 7 grants for special education-related " projects. 7: "- 7:.W-KV , The first grant of $45,000 will be used at the Monte Vista School to provide services to infants that are , developmental delayed. The second grant of $14,000 is in . the form of a contract between the Utah Department of Social Services : and the school district It will be used by PERC (Parent Education Resource Center) to provide parent ' education and support to parents who abuse or neglect their children ' or believe they are at risk of doing .so. .' : . ,, There was some discussion by board members as to the propriety of becoming involved in grant pre-jects pre-jects that aren't directly related to the school programs and the required re-quired curriculum. - .
