As of late Monday, Davis and East could have played Tuesday afternoon. An East victory would force a three-way tie for third be tween Davis, Viewmont and Woods Cross. In that scenario, Viewmont . would play Davis in a battle for third at a neutral site, probably Woods Cross. The loser would then play another -game with Woods Cross, the winner of that game getting get-ting fourth; Got all this? ""r"7 All of those games could have been played Tuesday, or the playoff games might be moved to today. Those games would determine seeding for the inter-region playoffs later this week. The state tournament tourna-ment begins at Derks Field and Ken Price Park next week (call the schools for times and matchups.) Either way, Bountiful and East will go to state, along with two of the three others, while Highland stays home. Here's a recap of last -week's games: BOUNTIFUL 6 DAVIS 2 BOUNTIFUL 12 WOODS CROSS 7 On Tuesday, ' Adam Larrabee tossed a six hitter and Jim Larsen belted two home runs as the Braves beat Davis. Mike Beamson also homered for Bountiful, while Tim Woozley and Burke Smith doubled and Larrabee tripled. For Davis, Jeff Strong and Bobby Peppier both doubled. Bountiful ended all suspense in Friday's game early, scoring seven times in the first inning to wrap up at least a tie for the league title. Larsen and Beamson combined on a six hitter, while Larrabee tripled twice and Smith once , for the Braves. Smith and Larsen doubled for the Braves, while Chadd Watson and Shaun Stephenson doubled and Kitt Rawlings tripled for Woods Cross. EAST 10 VIEWMONT 9 (10 INNS.) HIGHLAND 3 VIEWMONT 2 (9 .INNS.
