Show Mrs. John Gill (Linda) and their families. Mr. and Mrs. Bill George (Lu Dean) and two daughters came from Las Vegas Ve-gas to make the family reunion complete. They visited many places of interest in the Bay Area. Mr. and Mrs. A. VV. Cherring-ton Cherring-ton enjoyed a visit over the holidays with their daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Clark and children, Steven, John and Mary of Snowflake, Arizona, who also visited other relatives and friends here. Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Cherring- ton joined other relatives at a dinner Thursday evening of last week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ted Murdock in Salt Lake City. A gift exchange and visiting visit-ing were enjoyed after dinner among the following: Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Murdock, Mr. and Mrs. Kent Murdock, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Dolinar of American Amer-ican Fork; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Rob-ert Murdock of Salt Lake. brevities A New Year watch party was enjoyed by a number of friends at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Loyd Bird, Saturday evening. eve-ning. In attendance for lunch and visiting, were: Mr. and Mrs. Frank Cranmer, Mr. and Mrs. Merle Sargent, Mr. and Mrs. Jess Whiting, Mr. and Mrs. Lindsay Parker, Mr. and Mrs. Walt Wheeler of Provo and the host and hostess. Pfc. Louis (Eddie) Mellor, son of Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Mellor, spent the holidays in Springville with his parents and other relatives and friends coming from Camp Pendelton, Calif. He returned Christmas Day and is going to Vietnam with the Fourth Replacement Co. He has been in the Marines a year. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bird and son Curtis, came from Cheyenne, Wyo., to spend the holidays with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Russen Bird in Springville and with her folks in Spanish Fork. They also visited a number of friends in Ogden durmg the week. Dr. Gordon O. Lambson of Kansas City, Mo., and Dr. and Mrs. Thomas H. Cleve of New Orleans, visited parents, H. L. and Sara O. Nielsen In Provo and with other relatives and friends there and in Springville, coming here for the services of Mrs. Newell A. Lambson. Gordon Gor-don a former resident of Springville is a surgeon in Kansas City and Mrs. Cleve (Jerry Lambson) formerly of Springville, is teaching English at Tulane University in New Orleans. She received a master's mas-ter's degree from Peabody University Uni-versity in Nashville, Tenn., last spring. Dr. Cleve is doing research re-search work at Tulane University, Uni-versity, j Mrs. Gladys Pennington of this city was recently appointed to the State Board of Nursing by Governor Rampton. She is in the department of registration. registra-tion. Mrs. Pennington an LPN, served four years as vice president presi-dent on the state nurse's organization organ-ization and is now a board member in District 1. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Pyper and daughter, Sherry, along with Mrs. Pypers mother, Mrs. J. M. Dotson from Salt Lake City, returned New Year's Day from a holiday vacation in San Jose, Calif.
