Show V- , William Thomas Litster, 86, for whom services were con- ducted in Provo and Cleveland Cleve-land Ward, Emery County. Services held for father of local resident Funeral services were held Wednesday in Provo, for William Wil-liam Thomas Litster, 86, father fath-er of LuDean Litster of SpringviUe, Spring-viUe, and a former Emery County attorney, who died on Monday, Januay 2, 1967, after a short illness at his home in Provo. Additional services were also held Wednesday afternoon, in the Cleveland Ward, Emery County. Burial was also in Cleveland. Mr. Litster was Emery County Coun-ty attorney, four years and also served as government appeal agent in the Selective Service System of the United States from 1942-54. His education was received in Cleveland, the Emery Stake Academy and the Brlgham Young University. He was graduated from the American Corresponding School of Law in 1916. An active member of the LDS Church, Mr. Litster served a Southern States Mission. He was resident of Cleveland for 46 years, where he owned the Cleveland Cash Store. He was born June 20, 1880, in Salt Lake City, a son of Robert Campbell and Jane Cummings Litster. He married Ida Violet Johnson in the "Salt Lake Temple on Oct. 1, 1908. Survivors include his wife and eleven of 12 sons and daughters. One daughter lost her life in a car accident, in Arizona in 1950. There are 57 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren and one sister. |
