Springville couple observes 60th wedding day at dinner Dec. 24 It was a happy occasion for Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Gabbitas, 354 E. 100 North, when they celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary with a dinner at the home of a daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Aiken, Mrs. Ruth Miner and John Gabbitas, all of Orem; Mrs. Myrtle Howe and Frank Gabbitas of Salt Lake City. There are 14 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren. Miner m Orem, Christmas Eve, December 24. A dinner was served to family fam-ily members, close relatives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. Gabbitas have lived in Springville practically all their married lifee. Mrs. Mary Jones Gabbitas is a native of Chesterfield, Idaho, spending her early life there and later living with her folks at Schofield. She has been active ac-tive in church work, serving in the Primary and has been a Relief Society teacher many years. Mr. Gabbitas is a native of Springville. During his earlier life, he was a rancher and also worked on construction. Eg The couple are parents of six B sons and daughters, five of I whom are living: Mrs. Delia 9 |
