Show Game license year begin April 16 in Utah Utah's fish and game license year begiins Saturday, April 16, and the 1966 licenses will be available from approximately approximate-ly 500 agents throughout the state. The Utah State Department of Fish and Game reminded sportsmen that beginning April 16, anyone going afield during an open season must visibly display a proper 1666 license. The requirements for purchasing pur-chasing a resident license is as follows : "Resident, for the purposes of qualifying for a fishing, hunting, or trapping license, means any person who has been a bona fide resident in the state for not less than sixty days immediately preceding the date of purchase of a license, and who does not claim residency resi-dency in any other state for the purpose of qualifying for a fishing, hunting or trapping license. li-cense. Any person who qualifies quali-fies as a resident of this state and who purchases a resident license shall immediately forfeit for-feit all rights under such license li-cense if he thereafter purchases purchas-es or uses a resident license of any other state. Residents of this state who leave the state for purposes of attending school or performing required military service shall not lose their residency qualfications unless they become qualified to purchase and do purchase a resident fishing, hunting or trapping license in another state. Any person may purchase pur-chase a guide license, whether or not a resident, provided such person is at least 21 years of age and is fully familiar with the areas in which he serves as a guide." |
