Show Students make UTTI honor roll Four students from Springville Spring-ville were placed on the honor hon-or roll for the winter quartei at Utah Trade Technical Institute In-stitute at Provo, according tc Erschel Shepard, scholarshij and standards committee chair man. They are: Cheryl Baker, business; bus-iness; Melvin Lawrence Jones electricity; Mark M. Fitzgerald electronics; and Stephen J Rowland, electronics. Students receiving honor rol distinction are in both the high school and the post high schoo divisions of the Institute. Selection Se-lection for the honor roll ii determined by the scholarshij and standards committee al the school. A student musl achieve a grade point average of at least 3.7 or A- to qualify as an honor student. Fifty three students qualified for the winter quarter honoi roll. Those who have their full share of bonds, are to be congratulated. con-gratulated. They have insured theirs and their family's security. secur-ity. Misfortune can never strike them to such proportions, propor-tions, and their children can become educated so they can obtain top jobs. And it gives much more contentment and happiness to them. But one of the biggest assets to them is the example of thrift, in contrast to an example ex-ample of squander. Looking at it from the side of the patriot; it strengthens the economy of the nation and supports the cause of freedom everywhere in the world. |
