Show Club enjoys book review Mrs. Ron Thorpe gave an interesting in-teresting review of the book, "Act One," by Moss Gart, to feature the program of the Pari Passu Club, when members mem-bers met Thursday evening last week at the home of Mrs. Er-ma Er-ma Peay. Introduced by Mrs. Maryn Johnson, Mrs. Thorpe's review told of the life of the author and his struggle to get to Broadway and how he was assisted by George Kaufman. In a business meeting, club members received tickets for the art banquet and each one is to be responsible for two. The Pari Passu Club and the Companions Club are responsible respon-sible for tables and chairs for the banquet scheduled April 29, at the art building. Each club is to be responsible for a basket of flowers, the group was told. Naomi McKenzie was appointed as chairman from the club to work on the banquet. ban-quet.
