Show Some waters still open to fishing Early fishing opportunities are available throughout Utah on waters open to angling on a year-round basis. These waters wa-ters include both lakes and streams where cold and warm water fishes may be taken. A rash of questions about open waters and a rush of anglers an-glers going to them is common com-mon to the first warm days of Spring. Since conditions change rapidly during spring, most of the questions are best answered an-swered by the local Conservation Conserva-tion Officer. Those waters now open to fishing are listed in the 1966 angling proclamation, along with all rules and regulations covering this year's fishing 1 season. Popular early season waters include Bear Lake, Lower Bear ; River, Mantua Reservoir, Utah 1 Lake, Deer Creek, Nine Mile ' Minersville, Lake Powell and ! Flaming Gorge. Fishermen are reminded that j the 1965 fishing license is still ; valid through April 15, 1966. |
