Show 100 Scouts get awards at court of honor A total of 100 merit badges were awarded to boys in eight Scout troops at Hobble Creek District Court of Honor Wednesday Wed-nesday evening of last week, with the Sxth.Ward troop acting ac-ting as hosts. Second class badges were awarded to Bruce Taylor, David Da-vid and Drew Williams, Troop 128; David Diamond, 62; George Frisby and Larry Stal-lings, Stal-lings, 66; Thomas Alleman, 61 and Bill Staheli, Brent Reese, Blaine Hatch, Bradley Brinker-hoff, Brinker-hoff, 63. First Class badges were won by Reed Erdman, Michael Barker, Bar-ker, Albert Frisby, Guy Bartholomew, Bar-tholomew, Dennis Wilson, Robert Rob-ert Perry, David Tippetts, Michael Mi-chael Blackham, Troop 66; Guy Osborn, Troop 68; Lynn Bart-lett, Bart-lett, Larry Lamb, Daryl Strong, 128; John Peterson Craig Hatfield, Hat-field, Ricky Brereton, Danny Vincent, 63. Receiving Star badges, are: Alan Bird, Jay Oliphant, Kim Jensen, Troop 129; Jerry Knight, Douglas Wood, Troop 68; Tom Tippetts, 66; Cornell McDonald, 61. A Life badge was presented to Norman and Dennis McDonald, McDon-ald, Troop 61 and Darrell Bartholomew Bar-tholomew received his fourth Palm award. Troop 62 under direction of Michael Sumsion, won the first place trophy for the third month and Troop 68, under direction di-rection of Joseph Johnson won the second place trophy for the second month. Next Court of Honor will be held May 4, in the Springville Stake House with Troop 67 as host troop. The Board of Reviews Re-views is to be held at 6:30 p.m., April 27, in Springville Stake House. , t |
