Show Newly-married couple makes home in Fillmore after rites Now making their home in Fillmore, are recently married Mr. and Mrs. Charles R. Hen-cely, Hen-cely, both of whom are teaching teach-ing in Millard School District. Mrs. Hencely is the former Miss Marjorie Tipton, daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Norman I. Tipton of this city. The groom's parents are Mrs. E. B. McKinnon Hencely of Mari-anna, Mari-anna, Florida, and the late Eli Bertram Hencely. Later, the bridal party was honored at a dinner in Salt Lake, feted by the groom's mother. The lovely bride chose for her wedding attire, an original self -designed gown of deluster-ed deluster-ed satin with appliques of pearl beaded re-embroidered French imported lace flowers over part of the bodice and skirt. Her shoulder-length veil of bridal illusion was accented by a pearl beaded tierra, and she wore a single strand of pearls. Attending the bride were Mrs. Jeff Knapp, matron of honor; Miss Kathy Hatch, maid of honor; Mrs. Richard Men-love, Men-love, Mrs. Richard Dolinar, Mrs Paul Jensen, Mrs. Verlin Nich-oles, Nich-oles, Mrs. Lawrence Stock, Mrs. Bert Applegate, Mrs. Dean Tipton, bridesmaids and Miss Kim Tipton, junior bridesmaid. Their gowns were floor-length, of charm crystaline in a turquoise tur-quoise shade. Each carried a single large white mum with gold foilage and gold and white ribbons surrounding the large mum. Best man to the groom was Lance D. Chase. Ushers were John R. Patrick,' Kent Tipton NEWLTWEDS Mr. and Mrs. Charles R. Hencely, married mar-ried in Salt Lake Temple. She is former Marjorie Tipton. and Dean Tipton. As the guest book were Mrs. Lance D. Chase and Mrs. Phillip Brown. For her daughters reception Mrs. Tipton chose a gold crepe floor-length gown while Mrs. Hencely chose a navy blue crepe and Mrs. John C. Patrick wore a melon crepe floor-length. floor-length. Their corsages were talisman roses and white carnations. car-nations. The groom, best man and other male members of the wedding party wore black tuxedoes. tux-edoes. Mrs. Susie Allred and Mrs. Harold Christianson, aunts of the bride, were serving hostesses hostess-es at the large buffet table. The focal point at the table was the beautiful three-tiered cake designed in a colonial style. Serving were Judy Bailey, Bail-ey, Bonnie Barney, Judy Childs, Marsha Jenkins, Linda Proth-ero Proth-ero and Jan Roberts. Playing soft music on the piano throughout the" evening was Miss Susan Hsieh of Taiwan, Tai-wan, China, a friend of the couple and bride's family. In charge of arranging gifts were Mrs. Don Tipton, Mrs. Glen Tipton, Mrs. Frank Rig-trup, Rig-trup, and Mrs. Robert Bring-hurst, Bring-hurst, aunts of the bride, assisted as-sisted by Kevin and Tracy Tipton, Tip-ton, gift bearers. The bridal party was spotlighted spot-lighted before a gold and white backdrop. There were two large white pillars behind the bride and groom with a white pillar at the front and end of the line. On the pillars were bouquets of talisman roses. At the individual serving tables was a single white cherub with gold and turquoise decorations. Prenuptial parties for the bride were given by Mrs. Paul Jensen, Mrs. Harold Christian-son, Christian-son, Mrs. Phillip Brown, Mrs. Alton Packard, Mrs. Richard Menlove, Mrs. Richard Dolinar and Miss Kathy Hatch. Marva B. Beesley and son, Mike, have returned from an enjoyable 2-week's vacation trip to California during the holidays and has resumed her work at BYU. They were the house guests of Marva's sister and brother-in-law, Rex and Carol Blanchard and family at their new home in Anaheim, and also visited many places of interest in the vicinity. |
