Show Trawling Uteafi art show now open to public cat high school Sponsored by the Associated Utah Artists and the Utah State Institute of Fine Arts, a traveling art exhibit is presently pres-ently hung in the main halls of the senior high school and the public is invited to see the paintings from now until January Jan-uary 21. Because of the large number num-ber of entrees arriving at the art building for the second annual an-nual Utah Open Art Show in February, the paintings are occupying the space in the main halls of the high school. Visitors are invited to view them anytime during school hours. Included in the display are some 37 paintings, all by Utah artists including such well-known well-known painters as Paul Salisbury, Salis-bury, Cornelius Salisbury, Rose Howard Salisbury, Glen H. Turner, Robert V. Bullough, Jessie Behunin, Beverly N. Dodson, George R. Dunphy, Lenora Ferro, Henry Groen, Jay F. Hennefer, Mary K. jected pieces may be picked up. All work accepted, must remain re-main on display throughout the month. After the exhibit, entries en-tries may be picked up Feb. 28, March 4 and 5 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. This year's exhibit is expected expec-ted to surpass that of last year, which included over 450 oils, watercolors, graphics and sculptur work, according to ; Stanley Burningham, curator. February Exhibit The second annual All-Utah Open Art Exhibit of professional profes-sional and amatur art will be held during the month of February, Feb-ruary, at the high school art gallery, it was announced this week. Exhibitors are encouraged to submit two pieces of art to be juried for exhibit. Entries will be received at the art gallery, gal-lery, January 14 and 15 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Exhibitors will be notified if their work is accepted for hanging or informed when re- |
