Show Archery permits go on sa!e on August 9 Archery deer permits for the 1965 archery season will be available beginning August 9, 1965. This year's archery season sea-son will be August 28 through Sept. 12. Bow and arrow permits may be obtained by possessor's of a valid 1965 big game hunting license upon personal or mailed applicaton to any of the fish and game offices, or from authorized au-thorized license agents in various var-ious cities throughout the State upon personal application only. Fish and Game offices are located in Salt Lake, Og-den, Og-den, Provo, Price, Cedar City, and Vernal. Again this year, the number of archery permits is restricted to 1000 each on units 20 (Kam-as) (Kam-as) and 23B (Current Creek, Strawberry). Permits can be obtained for these two units by' application to Utah Btate Department of Fish and Game offices in Salt Lake City, Og-den, Og-den, Provo, or Vernal. The fee for bow and arrow permits is $5.00 and only one archery permit per person may be purchased in 1965. Boundary descriptions for herd units 20 and 23B are as follows: Kamas (part Herd Unit 20). That area in Wasatch Was-atch and Summit Counties that includes all drainages of Weber We-ber River upstream from Pe-oa Pe-oa and all the drainages of the Provo River upstream from Hailstone Junction and west of Trial Lake. Current Creek, Strawberry (part Herd Unit 23B). All of the drainages from the north into Strawberry River south of the Duchesne Diver sion tunnel and the south boundary boun-dary of the high Uinta wilderness wilder-ness area and bounded on the east by the drainage divide |
