Show Council handles routine items at Monday meet Among the business items handled at the city council meeting Monday night, was that of appointing Lawrence Lynn as a member of the recreation rec-reation board. Also approved at the meeting meet-ing was the approval of the low bid of the Stanley Co. for installing the sprinkling system sys-tem at the Hobble Creek Golf Course and the job was awarded award-ed to them for the bid price of $29,880.00. Bids for a pump to be used at the golf course, were opened, open-ed, the bids as follows: Utah Electric Motor Co., $2,623.27; Nickerson Pump Co., $2,450.00; Johnston Pump Co., $2,398.00. It was moved by Councilman Hansen and seconded by Councilman Coun-cilman Reynolds the bids be turned over to the city engineer engi-neer and awarded on his recommendation. rec-ommendation. Motion passed unanimously. The council approved calling for bids for grass to plant the golf course to be opened at the next council meeting. The 25 mill levy for the fiscal fis-cal year 1965-1966 was adopted and payment of $3,825.00 was authorized to be paid to Progressive Pro-gressive Builders for the landscaping completed to date at the civic center |
