' . ; nete., . - f '?(,; , --J Tlu'TOS DAMAGED Damage to throe lcars totaled approximately $1810 Wednes day forenoon, when the first automobile stopped at the cross walk for a pedestrian. Auto accident damages cars at intersection Jack McNiel, a pedestrian, living in the Senior Court, just escaped being hit in a three car accident Wednesday morning at the corner of 300 South and Main Street. It was reported that a car driven by Dale H. Hinshaw, Lantona, Calif., had stopped at the crosswalk to allow al-low Mr. McNeil to cross, when a large cattle truck driven by Robert A. Ruechect, Salt Lake City, hit into the rear end of a car driven by Janice A. Beck-stead, Beck-stead, Provo, who had stopped for the Hinshaw car. It was reported that Mrs. Beckstead suffered shock, neck and back injuries and that two children riding in the Hinshaw car suffered neck injuries. Damage to the cars was estimated esti-mated at $800 on the truck, $200 to the Hinshaw auto and $800 to the Beckstead car. The driver of the cattle truck was cited for failure to control his vehicle. Officer J. D. Dalton of the Springville City Police investigated the accident. |
