Show Lucy Blackett j services held i in Spanish Fork i Funeral seriveces were held in the Spanish Fork Third Ward Chapel, Monday, for Mrs. Lucy Watts Blackett, 83, a long-time resident of Spring-l Spring-l ville, who died Thursday, Janu- ary 7, 1965, of complications ! following a broken hip. She had been confined to Eldred Sunset Manor. Burial was in the City Ceme tery directed by Wheeler Mortuary. Mor-tuary. Mrs. Blackett was born July I 5, 1881 in Springville, a daugh-! daugh-! ter of Edwin and Emma Taylor Tay-lor Watts. She married James Chadwick, Dec. 12, 1898. He i died in 1900. She was married to Leo W. Blackett Feb. 15, 1905, in Provo, and he died in 1943. Mrs. Blackett lived in Springville until 1944, when she moved to Spanish Fork. During her earlier life, she was active in the Relief Society and as - an LDS Temple worker. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Ed (Leona) Hughes of Spanish Fork; four grandchild-: grandchild-: ren and 13 great grandchildren.
