It is anticipated that the bonding can be repaid without a raise in the mill levy with the repayment funds derived by the capitol improvement fund budgeted each year. Voting will take place in the five representative districts of Nebo School District. Every citizen with the welfare wel-fare of young people at heart, should go to the polls Tuesday, Tues-day, January 19, and vote in favor of the bond to build a new high school in Springville and at Payson, it is pointed out by school leaders this week. The bond will provide for four million dollars with which the schools will be built and furnished. The amount recommended to the voters will be issued in denominations de-nominations of $1000 or $5000 At Mapleton, voters will vote at the ellementary school and in Springvile, those residing in districts one to seven inclusive, will vote at the art building. Districts eight and nine, will vote at the Sage Creek School. Polls open Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Voters are advised to bring their tax receipt to the polls to save time. Otherwise their names may be checked with the county assessment roll at the polls, as only bona-fide bona-fide taxpayers may vote at the bond election. If a voter is properly registered regis-tered but his name is not on the county assessment list and he does not bring his tax receipt re-ceipt to the polling place, he may get an elector's oath from the, election Judge or by going before a notary and affirming that he paid a property tax in 1964, and then vote. Any resident who lives within with-in the district where he votes may vote in the bond election if he is a, taxpayer on land property, house, auto, boat, motorcycle, mo-torcycle, or trailer house, etc Taxpayers are urged to read the letters published in the Springville Herald this week, expaining details of the election elec-tion and reasons for voting in favor of the bond. |
