Show Entry data listed for open all-Utah art show in February There still is time to enter the All-Utah open amateur and professional art exhibit scheduled in the Springville Art Museum throughout the m onth of Febrauray, announces Omar M. Hansen, president of the art board. The exhibit is being held to provide opportunity for aspiring aspir-ing serious amateurs as well as to further stimulation for the professional artists in Utah. Entries will be juried, exhibited, exhib-ited, and judged in two categories cate-gories professional and amateur. am-ateur. First, second and third and honorable mention awards for each category will be declared. de-clared. Special invitations to the annual April national show will be given outstanding artists art-ists exhibiting in the new February Feb-ruary open show. Each nrtist may submit two original art works. These may be paintings, sculpture, or graphics for the February exhibit. ex-hibit. These pieces will be received re-ceived at the art museum January Jan-uary 22 or 23 from 12 noon to 8 p.m. All works not accepted accept-ed by the jury may be picked up on February 5 or 6 from 12 noon to 8 p.m. Notice will be sent. Pieces accepted for the exhibit must be picked up on March 5 or 6 from 12 noon to 8 p.m. |
