They also met Mr. Russell's Rus-sell's brother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Cloyd Russel'. of Tooele in Los Angeles and together they visited a number of relatives rela-tives in the area and attended the Rose Parade at Pasadena Enroute home, the Russells visited reltives in St. George and at Cedar City. Especially Especial-ly did she enjoy a surprise birthday for Charlie and also to welcome home their son, Michael, who arrived from Viet Nam after four years in the service. She also enjoyed other parties and family get-togethers and sight-seeing at many places of interest. Horace and Tranquilia Clark have recently returned from a trip to California and Arizona. They visited their daughter, Carolyn and husband, Blaine Wood and four children in In-dio, In-dio, Calif. Blaine is teaching English and athletics, including golf at Coachella High School. This is' the heart of the date growing industry, 90 being produced in this area, at sea level or below. At Tempe, Ariz., they visited their son, Stephen and wife Roberta and two small sons, Brian and Michael. He is an electrical engineer for Motorola in Scottsdale. They also visited Mary Boyer, who is doing beauty work there for the winter. She would like to be remembered to her many friends in Springville. Uay L. Done of Portland, Oregon, former principal at the high school visited here briefly one day last week at the high school and with former acquaintances ac-quaintances and friends. He and his wife were enroute home after af-ter a holiday visit with their son, who is a doctor in St. Lewis, Lew-is, Mo. Their other son is also a doctor in Portland. Mr. and Mrs. C. G. Russell have returned from an enjoyable enjoy-able three-week's vacation trip over the holidays in Arizona and California. They visited a daughter and son-in-law, Stanley Stan-ley and Shirley Hansen and family at Mayer, Arizona, and with a son and daughter-in-law. Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Russell and family at Phoenix.
