Mr. Sorenson attempted to dig his way out for about three hours. When the effort failed, he began walking and reached the Ecker Ranch about 6 a.m. Sunday. "It was cold, about 18 degrees, de-grees, so I just kept walking. I knew the area well. I kept to the road some of the way, but cut across to the ranch," he said. At the Ecker Ranch, he re- ceived help of men and a truck and returned to his mired truck. Both groups were cold and tired, but otherwise uninjured. |
