Show - - Club hears about Church of England Mrs. Blair Sargent was hostess host-ess to members of the Fiets Bien club group at a meeting Thursday evening. R e p 0 rts were made on the candy selling project and two members, Mrs. Anna Mae Wardle and Mrs. Vonnie Leetham were given prizes for the most sales. Speaker of the evening was Mrs. Ernest Church, who with her husband and children came from England some six months ago under sponsorship of Mr. and Mrs. Grant Thorn. In keep-iing keep-iing with the club's study of religions re-ligions of the world, Mrs. Church talked about the Church of England, giving some of its doctrines and practices. prac-tices. She also told of her desire to come to America. Refreshments were served at the close of the meeting to 18 club members. Next meeting is to be January Jan-uary 21, at the home of Mrs. Leetham.
