This publication, intended primarily for high school students, stu-dents, presents by analogy and in simple terms, some of the basic concepts about water intake in-take as related to water delivery, de-livery, soil properties and management, man-agement, floods, and conservation conser-vation measures. A new film on this same subject, entitled "Water Movement Move-ment in Soil," shows the important im-portant principles of water movement in different soils and the effects of layers, such as claypans, coarse gravel, or coarse sands on water movement. move-ment. Those requesting the films will receive a booklet with the same title as the picture. This is good background for those using the film. |
