MUS : i i - ' f v v Six fellows have been named to go to Boys State from Springville this year, the event to be held on the Utah State University campus, Logan, June 27 to July 4. Keith Davis, former commander com-mander of the local post American Am-erican Legion, will also be in attendance as a counselor. Bruce Cook, son of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Cook, is being sponsored by the American Legion; Calvin Bird and Neil Maycock', sons of Mr. and Mrs. George Bird and Mr. and Mrs. Howard Maycock, by the Kiwanis club; Jerry Warren, son of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Warren, by the Lions club; Richard Thorpe, son of Mr. and Mrs. Morris Thorpe, by the Springville Garage and Roy Tanner, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Tanner, by the Springville Banking Co. The program is sponsored by the American Legion and the boys are selected on a sponsorship sponsor-ship basis, one for each ten members of the local American Ameri-can Legion Post.
