Show Parowan teams wind dawn In Parowan Little League action last week, Fads and Jones Piano played with Fads winning 12-7. Winning pitcher was Mitch Adams. Bret Cranford, Dalvin Johnson and Lance Cranford singled and Lance Cranford doubled to drive in three runs for Fads. Other hitters were Jason Hentze who singled twice for two RBI's. Jeff Wood doubled and singled for three RBI's and Matt Robinson singled for two RBI's. Dean Hamill doubled. Other action saw Pit Stop play Boyers, with a 17-2 win going to the Pit Stop. Pit Stop clinched the league championship with the win. They have had a fine season. John Hanks, Doug Bayles and Brian Beck each collected a single and Brandon Thornton collected three hits for Boyers. Sy Smith, Sean Lamoreaux, Ken Staheli, Darrold Davies, Ranee Bess and Tyler Numson all collected hits for the Pit Stop. Another game saw Fads play the Bank of Iron County. A 17-1 win was notched for Fads. Winning pitcher was Mitch Adams. Russel Applegate and Mike Sherratt collected singles for the Bank. Dean Hamill had one RBI. Jason Hintze double, Jeff Wood had a triple, single and two RBIs. Mitch Adams had a single and triple for three RBIs. Matt Robinson, Brady Matheson and Jared Adams also hit. Other action put Jones Piano against Boyers with Jones Piano winning 19-5. Winning pitcher was Travis Johnson. For Boyers, Darren Hyatt, Brain Townsend and Brandon Beaumont each hit. For Jones Piano, Travis Johnson, Bret Cranford, Calvin Johnson, John-son, Lance Cranford, Jason Frein, Jason Eves, Sam Orton and Rich Little all had hits. The weeks final game saw the Pit Stop and the Bank of Iron County play. The Bank really put a scare into the league winner. They tied throughout the game until the final inning. Winning pitcher was Seap Lamoreaux. For the Bank, Russell Applegate, Ap-plegate, Alan Riggs, Greg Farrow and Mike Sherratt each banged-out hits. For the Pit Stop, Sean Lamoreaux, Darrold Davis, Ken Staheli, Lee Allton, Paul Lamoreaux and Tyler Munson had hits.. With just one week left in the Parowan Little League season, the Pit Stop has won the championship, followed by Fads, .Jones Piano, Boyers and the Bank of Iron County. I ' jp!
