Show UCAAN meeting The first membership meeting of the Utah Community Arts Agency Network, recently organized as a support system for artists and arts organizations throughout the state, will be held Oct. 11 at ' Southern Utah State College. "UCAAN was established to provide services for and to represent the interests of community arts agencies in Utah, so that they can promote and encourage the arts at the community level," indicated Kathy Mclntyre, Cedar City Music Arts Coordinator. Some 60 represen tatives of Utah's 32 community arts councils are expected to attend Reba Keel, Brigham Young University, will be the guest speaker at the conference which will be directed by Mrs. Mclntyre and Betty Griffin, Roosevelt Community Arts Council. Aslo attending the meeting will be Lynn Waring and Nancy Boskoff, community program coordinators, and Sherry Demill, grants officer, for the Utah Arts Council. UCAAN offices will be housed on the Southern Utah State College campus. |
