Show Richfield man killed A Richfield man was killed Oct. 2 when the vehicle he was driving crashed into the rear of a semi-truck in the southbound south-bound lane of 1-15 about one mile south of the Paragonah interchange. Richard D. Burks, 44, was apparently killed instantly, according to a Utah Highway Patrol spokesman. Patrolmen surmised that Burks might have gone to sleep before the accident, because there were no skid marks or other signs of him trying to avoid the collision. Also, Burks' vehicle was traveling at a very high rate of speed. The driver of the truck, Robert Baker, 41, Edmonton, Ed-monton, Alberta, was uninjured in the accident. ac-cident.
