Show SANTA CLARA Miss Amanda Graff Reporter Boyd Dennett and Rudger Mc-Arthur Mc-Arthur of St. George and Dale Tobler were home missionaries at Santa Clara for the Sunday afternoon after-noon services. Both gave splendid talks. There was also a piano solo by Mrs. Clarence Moss. Mrs. Clement Gubler and Levi Snow and family were Sunday guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harmon Hafen. Miss Velma Reber, who has employment in Salt Lake City, is here visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Reber and family. Dale Tobler, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Tobler is home on furlough from his training camp in Missouri. Miss Rena Gubler is home from her employment in Salt Lake City to visit her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ensign Gubler. Roland Stucki has returned to his home in Salt Lake City after spending several days visiting relatives rel-atives and friends in Santa Clara. The Swiss camp of the D. U. P. held their March meeting Thursday Thurs-day the 9th at the home of Mrs. Vivian J. Frei. The lesson taken from the pioneer journal of the first Danish emigrants to Utah, was given by Mrs. Frei. Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie Sam-mons Sam-mons and daughter, Joie, are here from Boulder City visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Graff, parents of Mrs. Sammons. Mr. Sammons is leaving shortly for induction into the armed forces. Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Webb, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Wittwer, of Hurricane, Hur-ricane, Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Stucki of St. George, Mrs. Lula S. Tobler of Ivins, and Roland Stucki of Salt Lake City, were Sunday dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lazelle Stucki. |
