Show VIRGIN Thelma Wilcox Reporter Visitors at the home of Sylvester Earl over the week end were Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Marker and daughter. La Wanna of Cedar City, Irving Earl of Boulder Gty and Samuel Earl of LaVerkin. Mrs. Niles Earl and daughters, Ila and Pauline, have gone to Las Vegas to spend the week visiting Mr. Earl who is employed there. Home missionaries to Virgin ward Sacrament meeting were Maurice Nuttall of Hurricane and Vernon Church of LaVerkin. Relatives in Virgin have been advised of the death in Pleasant Grove of the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Reese. Mrs. Reese was formerly Miss Carol Turner of Virgin. Mr. and Mrs. E. S. Lee entertained enter-tained at a party at their home Sunday night honoring Pvt. Arvel Leavitt of Gunlock who is a nephew of Mrs. Lee. Approximately four inches of snow fell in Virgin Monday night and snow continued throughout Tuesday. The fruit trees are almost al-most in bloom and almond trees are in blossom. Prospects for the 1944 fruit crop are uncertain. |
