Show IYINS Mrs. Lula Tobler Reporter Home missionaries to Ivins Sunday Sun-day were A. K. Hafen and Irwin Johnson from St. George. The stake missionaries held a cottage meeting in Ivins last Friday Fri-day with Haven Paxman, district president in charge. Floyd Ence returned Sunday from Salt Lake City where he went for military induction. He has been given a medical discharge. dis-charge. His sisters, Mrs. J. T. Spencer, who has spent the last several months in Salt Lake City, returned home with him to spend several weeks visiting her parents, par-ents, Bishop and Mrs. Reuben Ence. Her husband is still in military mili-tary service in Alaska. Mrs. Lawrence Watts' and children child-ren arrived by bus last Sunday evening from Salt Lake City to visit her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Tobler. Cpl. Roosevelt Gubler arrived last Sunday to move Mrs. Gubler, the former Cleo Hunt, and their baby to Las Vegas where they will be near his training post. Mrs. Harmon Gubler Jr., left last Friday for Las Vegas to spend a weak with her daughter, Mrs. Mike Chesney and infant daughter. Mrs. Chesney is the former Matha Gubler. |
