Show Early Pioneer Store -Closes In Bunkerville BUNKERVILLE, Nev. The Valley Val-ley Supply store has closed its doors for the first time since early in the history of Bunkerville. Bishop Edward Bunker Jr., who has been deceased for many years, built the store in the early seventies sev-enties and operated it for many years, selling out to W. C. Bowman. Bow-man. Mr. Bowman sold the store to Kenneth Earl, who operated the business for many years, until he moved to Idaho, when he sold the stock to Nathan Abbott. Mr. Abbott also moved to Idaho, selling sell-ing the stock to Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Potter, who decided recently re-cently to close out and return to their home in Las Vegas. The building and few remaining goods are still the property of Mr. Earl. Writing of the situation, Mrs. Henry Leavitt says, "the people of Bunkerville feel . it a great handicap to be without this central cen-tral store that has been serving the patrons so well, and it is hoped someone will again see fit to re-stock and operate the Valley Val-ley Supply. |
