Show BUNKERYILLE, Nev. Mrs. Mary II. Leavrtt ' Reporter Shakers at Sunday Sacrament services were Parley Hunt, stake missionary, Howard Starr and Mrs. Ralph Huntsman of St. George. There was also a vocal duet, "Jesus, Lover of My Soul", by Mr. and Mrs. Starr, who were here from St. George visiting. A double birthday anniversary party honoring Mrs. Thomas Adams and Mrs. John Leavitt, was held Sunday evening at the home of Mrs. Vincent Leavitt. The out-of-town guests included: Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Huntsman, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Starr and Mr. and Mrs. Jay Huntsman of St. George; Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Waite and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Leavitt of Las Vegas; Mr. and Mrs. Lorin Leavitt, Mrs. Luella Leavitt, Mr. and Mrs. John Leavitt, Leav-itt, Mr. and Mrs. Moroni Waite and Mr. and Mrs. Alva Hunt; also several grandchildren. Rain and snow storms Monday and Tuesday slowed up work on the water ditch, as all the sub-ditches sub-ditches are not yet completed. The water has been out of the town canal more than two weeks. Mrs. Elfine White- is here for an indefinite stay with her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Warren Hardy, since her husband is in military service. Mr. and Mrs. D. H. Leavitt and Mrs. Mary E. Leavitt visited in St. George last Saturday. I Mr. and Mrs. Roy Waite made a trip to Salt Lake City on business busi-ness last week. The town board has sold their interest in Cabin Spring water to the town of Mesquite for $5,000. Residents of Bunkerville have commenced work on the new line that will bring water from the Seeps Spring, which was filed on and accepted by the state. Warren War-ren Hardy is in charge of the project. He returned recently from Las Vegas where he procured pro-cured the use of a grader to finish fin-ish up the job. This will materially mater-ially hasten the work. |
